This Mother’s Day message is for you.
For you, the mother surrounded by kids and smothered in kisses.
For you, the mother who carried her kids but never got to know them because they were born into the arms of God.
For you, the mother with teenagers that drive her crazy and eat her out of house and home. (Even though you don’t really mind it…)
For you, the mom whose kids are out of the house and away at college or in their careers and would give anything to have them close.
For you, the mom who’s missing her own mother today and wishes that she could see her just one more time.
For you, the mom whose kids are in harm’s way and is praying like mad for their safety.
For you, the mom whose kid passed away, and who mourns the Mother’s Days that could have been.
We see you all. We love you all. We celebrate you all.
Because motherhood is a forever calling. It is vitally important. And it’s something that only you could do.
Because it is sacred.
